I was thinking about the start of new relationships as I was painting. The idea of when everything is fun and exciting; the smiling until your cheeks hurt and the little fluttering of your heart when hearing a loving or thoughtful comment. This is a very happy painting!

Heart Flutters is 36" X 36" X 1.5" painted with artist grade acrylics and has markings scraped into it for texture and movement. It's on gallery wrapped canvas with sides painted black. It is wired and ready to hang. It will be coated with a gloss varnish to protect from dust.
