This painting took so many twists and turns from start to finish.  It started out completely different and I kept playing and adding more paint as I went on.  I etched with a stylus and the top ends of paintbrushes to add designs and marks.  I let the painting lead me and kept adding more paint as we went on.  I got lost for a bit but in the end I eventually found my way home even though it took me the long way.

"The Long Way Home" is 20" X 20" X 1.5" on gallery wrapped canvas with sides painted black. It will be sealed with a gloss varnish to protect it from dust. It will come with an attached hanging wire ready to hang.
