The Dragonfly from Paint Mojo

At the beginning of November I had the pleasure of taking my first live workshop with

Tracy Verdugo

in her Paint Mojo workshop.  It was awesome from beginning to end.  Tracy is a very generous and gracious teacher.  She demonstrated a painting from start to finish and we all got to see her talent in action.  As a group we ate lunch and dinner together and new friendships were formed.  It was nice that a few of my Bloom True online classmates from Flora Bowley's class were at the workshop and we met in person for the first time as well.

The following is the transition for my completed painting.  I can't begin to express how much I loved the process and the end result.  I've had a few inquiries about selling this piece but for now I'm keeping it.  It's special to me because of the memories of the workshop that are attached to it.  Prints will be available.

This is how it was left at the end of Day 1.

I found the image of the dragonfly within the painting.

This is Tracy and I at the end of the workshop and you can see where I left the painting at that point.

Here is the completed painting.  I changed the head color because I felt that it was getting lost with all that pink and reddish orange on either side of its head.
